Pro Truck racing is one of the most competitive and entertaining classes in the Southeast’s short track scene. Built on powerful, purpose-built trucks running on asphalt ovals, the division demands the same car control, racecraft, and mechanical awareness as any full-bodied stock car class — and the racing is consistently side-by-side and hard-fought from green flag to checkered. The Five Flags Championship Series at Pensacola’s Five Flags Speedway is widely regarded as one of the premier short track programs in the country, and it is the proving ground where Matthew has built some of his most impressive results to date.

Grant Thompson Racing brings a wealth of experience and preparation to Matthew’s Pro Truck campaign. Running the #54 Adrenalin Powersports truck throughout the Five Flags Championship Series, GTR provides Matthew with the equipment, trackside support, and program structure needed to compete at the front of the field. The team’s familiarity with Five Flags Speedway in particular — knowing the lines, managing tire wear, and making the right calls on setup changes — is an invaluable asset for a driver still accumulating laps at one of the most technical tracks in the Southeast.
